An Amazing Story of Love and Grace

In 1968, Pastor Whiangar was able to attend the American Cooperative School in Monrovia, Liberia on a scholarship provided by a group of American ladies whose goal was to provide an opportunity for grassroots Liberian students to attend the American school. Graduating from ACS in 1976, he attended the University of North Dakota on a scholarship, graduating in 1980. In 1986, he graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from the Temple Baptist Theological Seminary in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Pastor Whiangar returned to Liberia in the fall of 1986 to preach the gospel and plant churches. He and his beautiful wife, Ruth K. Whiangar, survived the Liberian civil war. The union is blessed with four awesome children; Tenizi, Tuakah, Tehmen, and Tamayn.
