Description:

This book serves as a mirror to Liberia and its creators; the failure and regrets, and possibly, a way forward. It is entertaining and will hold your interest as this author brings to life the African continent engagement with other continents during, and after, the trans-Sahara trade. Mother Supreme created a world with hope and aspiration for man’s existence and designed a silver and golden Falcon to provide them the necessities for survival. Now that the world is filled with greed, strive, hypocrisy, and chaos mingling, producing a vortex of immoralities, evil hover over Ancient Fricano and spread its wings to the Negro Republic of Liberia. Mother Supreme has no choice but to prematurely send the Falcon to earth. Now, as greediness and unpatriotic characters choke the Falcon, Zulu Menya is sent by Mother Supreme to heal the country, and he presents the plan to the government. Would they accept it?

Author Details:

Shedrick Bricks Seton was born in Harbel, a town located in West-Central Liberia where the Firestone Rubber Plantations Company was established. A member of the inaugural class of the President’s Young Professional Program (PYPP) Seton served as technical focal person for President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf’s Auxiliary Programs; African Leaders Malaria Alliance (Chair), Champion For Global Fund Replenishment, Champion for Nutrition, and Economic Management Secretariat (Coordinator).

Mr. Seton is a member of the Liberia YMCA and a founding member of The Youth Development Corps, Grand Bassa County, Liberia. He has worked as an Operator at Radio One (Magic FM), a youth amateur radio station in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, Liberia.

An activist for social change, Seton’s first book, The Falcon, is a satire about Liberia and its establishment; the failures, regrets, and possibly, a way forward. Like his first book, Forget Me Not My Love, is a reminder of a society still pleading for change.

Seton attended the Firestone Public School System and later went on to earn a BSc degree in Political Science from the University of Liberia.

Shedrick and his wife, Anita, have four children: Shanita, Silvia, Sharon, and Shedrick Z.B. Seton (aka Miracle). The family lives in Woodbridge, Virginia
